& so that was christmas

Hoping you all had a magnificent Christmas full of wonderful celebrations with friends and family.

A little collection of shots below from my little country cottage...

I made the tree from old painted cedar house panelling, bits of found branches, bamboo and an old handle. Decorations are from years gone by with a few new additions, I also decided this year that every bottle top from the champagne we drank would then hang diligently from the tree too, we ended up with quite a cute collection!

As the cottage used to house the KANGAROO VALLEY TIMES a local newspaper back in the 1800's, I always love to add a touch of newspaper to Christmas gifts or decorations and layer it up, it was all about fabric, paper and twine and of course our eco friendly gift tags!
